Sugarcane bagasse tableware is moulded from plant fibre and is sturdy, microwave- and freezer-friendly, and naturally biodegradable — ideal for plates, clamshell lunch boxes and bowls. Paper cups, bowls and boxes are lighter and lower cost, and are food-grade lined (PE or PLA) for liquids and hot food. Many F&B operators use both: bagasse for dine-in/takeaway meals and paper for drinks, snacks and bakery items.
